Submissions
Make a new submission or view your pending submissions. All manuscripts undergo an initial quality and policy compliance check; suitable manuscripts proceed to double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts. The editors may desk reject work that is outside scope or below minimum scholarly/ethical standards.
Please read the Author Instructions and use the correct Blinded Article File template before submitting. Template downloads are listed on the Author Instructions page (Title Page, Original Research, Review, Case Report/Series, Short Communication, Clinical Images, Letters, Elective/Clerkship, Editorial/Feature, Conference Abstracts).
Before you submit
- Prepare a separate Title Page using the template (authors, affiliations, contributions, funding, competing interests, trial registration, corresponding author).
- Prepare a Blinded Manuscript in the correct template with no identifiers (names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or file metadata). See D2. Blinded Article File.
- Format references in Vancouver style (journal titles per Index Medicus). See E2. References.
- Upload figures as JPEG/TIFF/PNG ≤ 2 MB each; include legends in the manuscript; label multi-panel figures A, B, C…
- Confirm ethics/IRB approval (as applicable), patient consent for identifiable materials, and secure permissions for copyrighted content.
- Ensure declarations of funding and competing interests are complete and consistent across the Title Page and metadata forms.
Open access: content is published under CC BY-NC-SA 3.0. No fees for submission or editorial processing. Upon acceptance, an APC of USD $250 is invoiced; waivers/discounts may be considered.
